It is characterized by a main quartz crystal that is covered in tiny secondary quartz points, giving it a spiky, druzy appearance.
 
Spirit Quartz comes in several different colors, each associated with different mineral inclusions:
Amethyst Spirit Quartz – The most common variety, ranging from pale lavender to deep purple due to iron impurities.
 
Citrine Spirit Quartz – Golden-yellow to orange, caused by natural heat treatment within the Earth.
Smoky Spirit Quartz – Brown to gray hues due to natural radiation exposure.
White/Clear Spirit Quartz – Lacks significant mineral inclusions, giving it a pure, icy appearance.
