Arkansas Quartz

Arkansas is home to some of the clearest quartz on Earth. The Ouachita Mountains, especially around Mount Ida, Hot Springs, and Jessieville, produce exceptionally transparent crystals often called “water quartz” or “water-clear quartz.”

General Information

Arkansas is famous for having some of the clearest and most beautiful quartz crystals in the world. These crystals form deep underground in the Ouachita Mountains, where hot mineral-rich water slowly cools in cracks and pockets. When conditions stay calm for a long time, the quartz grows into clear, glassy, perfectly shaped crystals, sometimes called water-clear quartz because they look like frozen water.

Metaphysical

Arkansas water-clear quartz is often said to be a strong “clarity” stone. People who use crystals metaphysical properties believe it can amplify intention, enhance focus, and promote mental or emotional balance. Because of its purity, some consider it a “master healer” crystal used for meditation or energy work.
