Petroleum Quartz
Optically clear quartz crystals that contain tiny pockets of trapped hydrocarbon fluids, actual crude petroleum that was sealed inside the crystal as it grew.

General Information
The oil inside the quartz contains fluorescent hydrocarbons, especially PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), which glow bright blue to blue-white under shortwave UV, sometimes greenish-yellow under longwave UV. The fluorescence is coming from the petroleum itself, not the quartz.
Metaphysical
Petroleum quartz is thought to represent illumination, insight, and clearing old emotional patterns. People say the glowing petroleum inclusions help reveal hidden truths and amplify energy.
